Privacy Policy

Temple Mind is a mobile application that gives access to podcasts, articles, quotes, facts, a dictionary and other written material. This policy explains what personal data the app collects, why we collect it and what rights you have over it.

The app is operated by Temple Renew LLC. If you have any question about this policy, write to us at support@templeminds.com.

Account data — the email address you sign in with, the username you choose, and optionally your age, your stated goal and a profile photo you upload.

Content you create — posts, comments, replies, likes, saved items and the accounts you follow.

Purchase data — which subscription plan you bought, when it was bought and when it expires. Payments are processed by Apple or Google; we never receive or store your card details.

Device data — a push notification token (only if you allow notifications), the app version and the platform, so we can deliver notifications and diagnose problems.

Usage data — which content you opened or listened to, used to show your history and to improve what we publish.

To create and secure your account, and to sign you in with a one-time code sent to your email.

To give you access to the content included in your plan, and to keep your saved items and history in sync.

To show your posts and comments to other users of the app.

To send notifications about new content, if you allowed them. You can turn them off at any time in Settings.

To detect abuse, prevent fraudulent purchases and keep the service working.

We do not sell your personal data.

We do not share your data with advertisers, and the app shows no third-party advertising.

We do not collect your contacts, your location or the content of other apps on your device.

Other users see only what you publish yourself: your username, profile photo, posts and comments.

Service providers that we need in order to run the app: Amazon Web Services (email delivery), DigitalOcean (hosting and media storage), MongoDB Atlas (database), Google Firebase (push notifications), Apple and Google (payments). They process the data only on our instructions.

Authorities, when the law requires it.

Account data is kept while your account exists. Purchase records are kept for as long as accounting rules require, even after the account is closed.

When you delete your account from Settings, your profile, posts, comments, saved items and follows are removed and your email address is released.

You can see and change your username, email, age, goal and profile photo inside the app at any time.

You can delete your account and its content from Settings → Delete account.

You can ask for a copy of your data, or ask us to correct or erase it, by writing to support@templeminds.com. We answer within 30 days.

You can withdraw permission for notifications in the app or in your phone's system settings.

The app is intended for people aged 13 and over. We do not knowingly collect data from children under 13. If you believe a child has given us personal data, contact us and we will delete it.

Traffic between the app and our servers is encrypted with HTTPS. Access to the database and to media storage is restricted to the people who operate the service. Sign-in uses a one-time code sent to your email, so no password is stored.

We may update this policy. The date at the top of the page shows the latest version, and significant changes will be announced inside the app.
